Haynesworth Indicted

By - Kris Fletcher

Yesterday, a grand jury indicted Washington Redskins defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth on a misdemeanor sexual abuse charge.

The charge stems from a complaint filed against him in February after an incident at the W Hotel in Washington D.C.

A waitress at the hotel said that Haynesworth caressed her breast after she gave him permission to slide his credit card into her shirt. The woman said her hands were full with glasses at the time.

Chad Speck, Haynesworth's agent, has repeatedly said his client did not commit a crime.

It was the second allegation against Haynesworth this year. Police in Virginia say he assaulted a man at a traffic stop several days prior to the hotel incident.

If convicted, he faces up to 180 days in jail or a $1,000 fine.

It's hard to believe that just a few seasons ago this guy was one of the best defensive linemen in the NFL. Now, he's basically a walking punchline. It would actually be funny if it wasn't so pathetic.
