Savage, who's real name is Randy Poffo, reportedly had a heart attack while behind the wheel and lost control of the car, jumped a concrete median, crossed oncoming traffic, and slammed head-on into a tree. He was transported to Largo Medical Center, where he died. His wife was a passenger in the vehicle but survived with only minor injuries.
According to authorities, both were wearing seat belts and they do not believe alcohol to be a factor. An accident investigation is underway.
You guys are one of the first places I've seen even reporting on this. Good work.ReplyDelete
Savage was one of the true greats of wrestling. He and Hulk Hogan helped pave the way for what wrestling is today.
He will be missed.
Sad news. RIP Macho Man.ReplyDelete
