Manny Pacquiao earned an unanimous decision win over Sugar Shane Mosley on Saturday night, retaining his WBO welterweight title with his 14th consecutive victory.

Judges Glenn Trowbridge (119-108), Dave Moretti (120-108) and Duane Ford (120-107) all had huge margins for Pacquiao on their final scorecards.

While Pacquiao (54-3-2) didn’t get the knockout he wanted, he did manage to keep his spot as boxing’s top pound-for-pound fighter.

The eight-division champion knocked down Mosley with a right-left combination midway through the third round. It was just the third time he'd been on the canvas in his 18-year career.

Mosley was credited with a knockdown in the tenth round when it looked like he pushed Pacquiao as he threw a wild punch, but it wasn't enough.

Sugar Shane (46-7-1) is now winless in his last three fights.
