Rafael Nadal Wins French Open

By - Kris Fletcher

Minutes ago, Rafael Nadal ran his career record at Roland Garros to 45-1, as he defeated Roger Federer 7-5, 7-6 (3), 5-7, 6-1 to win the French Open.

It was Nadal's 10th career Grand Slam title, and 6th French Open championship, tying him with Bjorn Borg for the most in tournament history.

Early on, Federer was in control, jumping out to a 5-2 lead in the 1st set. However, the "King of Clay" rallied, as he won the last 5 games to steal both the set and momentum that Federer had gained at the beginning of the match.

No doubt Federer is one of the greatest players ever, but it's obvious Nadal is his kryptonite. With the loss today, he falls to 8-17 all-time against him.
