- Opening Week in the NFL: The first week of the 2013 NFL season saw several big matchups across the board, including a rematch of last season's wild divisional playoff game between the Ravens and Broncos, the Packers and 49ers renewing their heated rivalry, and the Giants and Cowboys getting it on in Big D. We break down all these games and more in our Week 1 recap.

- College Football Chat: Even though the college football season is only a few weeks in, Saturday gave us our first "Upset Weekend" of 2013, with multiple ranked teams falling to unranked opponents. The Gators ran into a Hurricane in Miami, the Longhorns were ran over by BYU, and the Trojans played host to Washington State; but no-showed to their own party. We discuss these games and more in our college football segment.

- Mayweather-Alvarez Preview: This Saturday night, "Money" versus "Canelo" will finally go down at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Will Mayweather leave Nevada with his unblemished record still intact, or will his reign of dominance in the world of boxing finally come to an end? We'll tell you.

Plus:

We discuss the allegations made by Sports Illustrated against the Oklahoma State football program, and share some of our favorite memories from the newest class of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame!

All this and more in this week's edition of The Bleacher Briefings podcast!
